December 2026 PotLuck Social
Each December, the Peninsula Garden Club comes together to celebrate the season at our annual December Social. This festive gathering is a chance for members to relax, reconnect, and enjoy good company after another rewarding year in the garden. With warm conversation, seasonal cheer, and a shared love of gardening, it’s always a highlight of the club calendar.
The PGC Propogation Group
The PGC Propagation Group will meet on Saturday, August 29 at 10 am at the home of Bonita Elliott. Please bring your gloves, some tools, and anything from your garden that you would like to pot up and share. Register with Bonita at b2elliott@shaw.ca She will explain more upon registering.
The Wonderful World of Lillies
PGC member Colin Tamboline is giving a talk on August 22 at 11 am. about The Wonderful World of Lilies. This talk will take place at the Pergola at the Sandown Centre for Regenerative Agriculture at 1810 Glamorgan road, North Saanich. Colin will talk about types of lilies, how they grow, keeping them happy as well as demonstrate how stem roots are critical to growth.
